Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring in Connecticut. We offer flexible scheduling across weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in shifts, with a competitive hourly pay plus referral bonuses.

Roles involve providing non-medical home care, assisting with daily activities, transport, and companionship under client plans of care. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver or home health aide is a plus.
• Ability to follow client care plans and provide compassionate support.
• Strong interpersonal skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
