Home Care Alternatives & Loving Hands Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support clients in their homes. You will assist with daily activities, promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

We are staffing part-time or full-time roles and require ability to work every other weekend. Shifts run 8:00–16:00 or 16:00–00:00 to cover needs in the customers’ homes.

Formación

• Provides personal hygiene assistance and help with basic needs
• Reminds clients to take medications and assists with ambulation
• Helps with mobility to appointments, walks, etc.
• Assists with meals, personal care, and light physical therapy exercises
• Performs shopping or accompanies clients to shop
• Performs housekeeping and reports any incidents
• Act quickly in emergencies and provide essential daily living activities

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Caregiver

We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide exceptional support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll assist with daily activities while helping individuals maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Looking to staff part time/full time and must be able to work 1 shift every other weekend.

Hours: 8 am to 4 pm or 4 pm to 12 am

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standard.
• Must be comfortable driving clients van and transporting her in it.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day.
• Hoyer experience or willing/capable of training.
• Urinary Catheterization experience or knowledge or willing/capable training.
• Non-Smoker
• No long or acrylic nails
