Role Description

The Caregiver role is a full-time, on-site position located in Lake Jackson, TX. In this role, the Caregiver provides non-medical support to seniors, including assistance with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting. Responsibilities also include light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation or accompaniment to appointments and errands. The Caregiver monitors clients’ well-being, documents changes in condition, and communicates concerns to supervisors or family members. The position requires building trust, offering companionship, and promoting safety, dignity, and independence in the client’s home.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility support, and daily living activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members, including active listening and clear, respectful dialogue.
• Reliable time management and organizational skills to follow care plans, maintain schedules, and complete documentation accurately.
• Basic household management skills such as safe meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment.
• Ability to recognize changes in client condition and follow safety procedures, including fall prevention and emergency response protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in senior care is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks and any required screenings.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training, follow company policies, and uphold the values of dignity, respect, and inclusion for all clients.
