Dial is seeking a part-time Caregiver in Lake Barrington, IL. The role runs 2pm–10pm on weekends, with RN delegation for resident wellbeing. A nursing certificate is not required to apply, making it ideal for those starting a caregiving career.

The job offers personal care, safety support, and a chance to make a difference in residents’ lives. You will aid with daily living activities, monitor health, respond to emergencies, and help with mobility and meals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid.

Responsabilités

• Provide services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, safety and wellbeing of residents.
• Respond to call signals and emergencies, assisting or contacting emergency support.
• Support resident mobility with transfers, positioning, walking and mobility aids.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and encourage socialization among residents.
• Launder residents’ clothing and linens; maintain a tidy living space.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.

Position Overview

This position does not require a nursing certificate and is ideal for individuals beginning a caregiving career. The position provides personal care services, assistance, and support while ensuring resident wellbeing and safety, through RN delegation.

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and conversation while encouraging socialization among residents.
• Launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels; fold and return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, providing a pleasant home environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid
