Dial Silvercrest Corp in Lake Barrington, IL is seeking a part‑time Caregiver (Nurse Aide) to support residents weekends from 2pm to 10pm. This role does not require a nursing certificate and focuses on personal care services under RN delegation.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, observing health changes, and promoting resident wellbeing in a supportive home environment. Minimum age is 16 with knowledge of basic first aid.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid.

Responsabilités

• Provide services to residents according to the resident service plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, mobility).
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well‑being of residents.
• Respond to call signals and emergencies; contact emergency support if needed.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, walking, and mobility aids.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during meals.
• Offer companionship and encourage socialization.
• Launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels; return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments.
• Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to residents and operations.
• Report on-the-job injuries to supervisor by end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This position does not require a nursing certificate and is ideal for individuals beginning a caregiving career. The position provides personal care services, assistance, and support while ensuring resident wellbeing and safety, through RN delegation.

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and conversation while encouraging socialization among residents.
• Launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels; fold and return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, providing a pleasant home environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid
