Job summary

A home care service provider in Houston seeks compassionate Caregivers to enhance the lives of seniors. You will work one-on-one with clients, assisting with personal care, companionship, and daily living tasks. Ideal candidates should have prior experience in geriatric care, possess strong communication skills, and be reliable. The position offers competitive hourly pay between $15.00 and $18.00. Qualifications

• 6 months of full-time or 12 months of part-time experience caring for seniors.
• Must have proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance if transporting clients.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning tasks.
• Help clients with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Remind clients to take medications and assist with ambulation.
• Provide transportation for client appointments.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be part of our team and join us inҳамour mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one‑on‑one, providing a variety of non‑medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• 6 months of full‑time work or 12 months of part‑time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
