Job summary

Right at Home in Honolulu is seeking caring caregivers to provide companionship and support to clients in the community. You will assist with daily tasks, meal prep, transportation, and personal care, ensuring a safe and comfortable home life.

The role offers flexible hours and paid training; prior caregiving helps, but those without can start with paid training. This position is ideal for students pursuing health-related degrees seeking meaningful work while they study.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience (personal or professional).
• Compassionate, responsible, and motivated to help others.
• Ability to pass a full employment background check.
• Reliable transportation & a valid driver’s license.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred, can obtain after hiring).
• Two‑step TB test (preferred, can obtain after hiring).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship & emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping & meal preparation.
• Run errands & accompany clients to appointments (paid mileage).
• Help with medication reminders & personal care.
• Engage in activities such as reading, puzzles, and walks.
