CareLinx by Sharecare is a nationwide caregiver registry that matches you with clients in Gastonia, NC based on your availability. You control how much you work via the CareLinx app, whether steady shifts or per-diem flexibility, while we handle the matches.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months caregiving experience or a relevant certification.
• Access to a smartphone for scheduling and timesheets.
• Ability to communicate in English; bilinguals encouraged.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping.
• Complete and document care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift.
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition to the CareLinx clinical team.
• Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app.
• Communicate with CarePartner about case updates or client changes.
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe environment; maintain confidentiality.
• Provide transportation and errand support as needed.
• Provide hospital discharge escort when required.
• Assist with Telehealth navigation to connect with virtual doctor visits.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Core responsibilities for all caregivers:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping
• Complete and document all care tasks accurately in theCareLinxmobile appduringeach shift
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition or self-care abilities to theCareLinxclinical team
• Submit timesheets on time through theCareLinxapp
• Communicate with your CarePartnerregardingany case updates or client changes
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times
• Transportation and errand support
• Hospital discharge escort — safelyaccompanyingmembers home after discharge
• Telehealth navigation — helping members connect with virtual doctor visits

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 6 months ofcaregiving experience, OR relevant education/certification (CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent)
• Accessto a smartphone capable of running theCareLinxapp (requiredfor scheduling, documentation, and timesheets)
• Ability to communicate in English (bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply)
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes
• Must pass a background check

Program-specific requirements (may apply depending on assignment):

• Completion of program-specific training prior to accepting shifts
• Medical clearance such as TB test, physical exam, or drug screening
• Valid driver's license and MVR check if accepting driving shifts
• Additionaldocumentation may berequiredbased on state law or client contract
