Job summary

Home Instead in Maryland is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in their homes. You will help with daily living activities, memory care, and companionship, with a focus on safety and comfort. Flexible scheduling allows you to work around your availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of caregiving experience.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation with a valid auto insurance in your name and Maryland driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Caregiver Requirements

• 1+ years experience caregiving
• REQUIRED: Maryland Driver’s License (not provisional or learners permit)
• REQUIRED: Reliable personal transportation with valid auto insurance in your name
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to successfully pass a Reference Check, Background Check and Motor Vehicle Check, and a pre-employment Drug Screen.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English. Additional languages are a plus.
• Willing to work with clients with cats or dogs or clients that smoke.

Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Personal Care Assistance with hygiene needs including bathing and toileting
