Job summary

Independent Home Health is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support clients in their home. This role offers companionship, daily assistance, and meaningful one-on-one care, with an onboarding bonus in this area.

You will help with ADLs, meals, light housekeeping, health monitoring, medication reminders, and transportation as needed. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay are available; training is provided for those new to caregiving.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic.
• 1 year hands-on caregiving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
• Light housekeeping such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying living areas.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, or environment.
• Medication reminders and providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities.
• Follow care plans and document services provided.
• Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times.

Job Requirements:

• 18 years old or more
• Have a valid ID
• Able to pass a PA criminal background check
• Able to pass an FBI background check if you have not been a PA resident for 2 years
• TB Clearance
