Job summary

Independent Home Health is looking for caring, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical support in clients’ homes across the surrounding communities. You’ll help individuals stay safe, comfortable and independent at home while building meaningful relationships with those you support.

No professional caregiving experience is required. If you’re reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we’d love to talk with you about joining our team in various flexible part-time or full-time

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Be able to complete required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals.

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout the surrounding communities.

Pay

• $15/hour – Waiver cases
• $16 to $17/hour – VA and Private Pay cases

What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeepingProvide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide

What We're Looking For

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
