Job summary

Independent Home Health is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist a client in their home. You will provide daily support, companionship, and help with ADLs while following care plans to ensure safety and dignity.

Experience is preferred but not required; training is available. This role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a supportive team dedicated to meaningful one-on-one care, with opportunities to monitor changes in health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or more.
• Have a valid ID.
• Able to pass a PA criminal background check.
• Able to pass an FBI background check if you have not been a PA resident for 2 years.
• TB Clearance

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up living areas
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, or environment
• Medication reminders
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities (if applicable)
• Follow care plans and document services provided
• Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times

• 1-year hands‑on caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
