Our ComForCare location is hiring for several clients in Fenton, MI! Shifts range from 5-6 hours in the evenings to 12-hour shifts on weekdays and weekends. Experience in direct care is preferred, but training is available for motivated individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications
• Assist with transfers and ambulation
• Support mobility for appointments, walks, etc.
• Help with personal care, meal planning, and physical therapy exercises
• Perform shopping and accompany clients as needed
• Perform housekeeping duties and report incidents
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Assist with daily activities, including meal service and other tasks

Qualifications:

• Preferably 1 year of healthcare or in-home care experience; training available for motivated newcomers
• Reliable transportation
• Enjoy one-on-one care and eager to learn
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor
• Flexible with shift timings
• Adherence to health and safety standards
• High School Diploma or equivalent
