The University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a caregiver for a 7-year-old girl with developmental delays. The role requires experience with children on the spectrum, ensuring safety and providing engaging activities. Flexible hours with potential for summer work and the fall semester are available.

Schedule is felxible. I currently have 2 students working with her- 1 just graduated so wanting to replace her position. I work with school schedules and they work with our ongoing schedule. Could start with some hours this summer but looking to add a position for this fall and beyond. Currenlty one evening/week 3:00-7:00 and some occaisonal weekend shfits (usually 3-4 hr blocks). 1Position Summary/Job Duties:
Harper is a 7 year old girl with developmental delays, autism, ADHD and is minimally verbal. She is an elopement risk and doesn't have an understanding of safety awareness. She needs constant attention to make sure she is being safe. She enjoys spending time in our fenced in yard, singing, dancing, playing music, making forts, playing dress up, and playing with her pretend babies and puppies. She is typically very happy but can have some tantrums when she doesn't get her way or as she becomes dysregulated. She is not currently potty trained.
Qualifications:
To have some experience with kids- especially those on the spectrum.
Physical Demands
