Job summary

Synergy HomeCare of Edwardsville is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide high-quality in-home, non-medical care for clients across Madison County, IL, including Edwardsville and surrounding areas.

We welcome both experienced caregivers and newcomers, offering training, supportive teamwork, and meaningful work that helps families stay independent at home.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and positive demeanor.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to schedules and care plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus but we offer training.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients in their home environment.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and Synergy HomeCare staff.
