Job summary

Right at Home Hilton Head/Savannah is hiring in-home caregivers with flexible schedules and competitive pay. Pay ranges from $14 to $15 per hour, with next-day pay and opportunities for career growth toward HHA certification. Training and mentorship are provided to support advancement.

We offer paid training, 401K, caregiver recognition programs, and paid travel between clients. Join our team and be essential in delivering compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. while assisting clients.
• Willing to pass a background check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through reading, games, music and puzzles.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Provide medication reminders to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, bed linens).
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and range of motion activities.
• Care for clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or Parkinson’s.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Companionship activities such as reading, games, music, and puzzles.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping tasks include vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linens, etc.
• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
• Personal Care: bathing/showering/toileting/dressing/gait belt/Hoyer Lift
• Assisting with active and passive range of motion exercises
• Special assistance for Alzheimer’s, dementia, and Parkinson’s care

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or GED
• Able to lift and bend with 50 lbs.
• Willing and able to pass a background check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed
• A CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification is preferred.
