Job summary

HomeWell Care Services VA307 in Virginia is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team. You will work one-on-one with clients, providing non-medical services and building meaningful relationships in the comfort of clients' homes.

Qualifications

• CNA, HHA or PCA license preferred, or 6 months of full-time care experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Proof of TB testing; physically able to perform duties.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNA or HHA or PCA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testingMust be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
