Job summary

Brookdale Maryville is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support residents on day and night shifts, with weekend availability. Roles involve assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining dignity, and promoting independence in a caring, respectful environment.

Caregivers may advance to CNA/STNA or Medication Technician roles and benefit from Brookdale's training, health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct resident care or home health care.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living with dignity and respect.
• Comfort with flexible shifts, including weekends and overnight options.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, recognizing individual needs and promoting independence.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Help with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and communicate observations to the care team.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
• You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs, as well as help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
