Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
• Assist client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Must have a CNA or PCA Certificate (if you do not have one, we can help you get it)
• Must have at least two years of experience as a caregiver
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum two years of documented caregiver or home care assistance experience
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull; varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong consideration for candidates with experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions

Location and Travel

This position is available at our St. Simons Island location located at 1700 Frederica Rd Suite 107, St Simons Island, GA 31522. Our office serves St. Simons Island and surrounding areas. This position may require travel to those areas.
