Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors and adults in their homes. You may join as CNA, PCA, HHA, or with a heart for helping others. Care includes bathing, mobility support, meals, companionship, reminders, and light housekeeping.

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts with morning to overnight hours, enabling flexible client-based scheduling while building meaningful relationships and career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Level II Fingerprint Background Check.
• Current TB Skin Test or willingness to obtain before employment.
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain before employment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift, transfer, bend, and assist clients safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Escort or transport clients to appointments, errands, or social outings when authorized.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the office regarding client needs.

Position Summary

FirstLight Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our growing team of caregivers. Whether you're an experienced CNA, PCA, HHA, or someone with a heart for helping others, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors and adults in the comfort of their homes. Every client's needs are unique, making each day rewarding and meaningful.

Position Type

• Full-Time

Schedule Availability

• Monday-Sunday
• Morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
• Client schedules vary based on individual care needs

Responsibilities

Preferred Experience

• Previous caregiving, home care, PCA, HHA, CNA, or healthcare experience preferred
• Experience caring for seniors or adults with disabilities is a plus

Requirements
