Job summary

Cape Cod Senior Residences in Bourne, MA is seeking a Resident Care Associate (CNA, HHA) to provide direct personal care to our senior residents. Our safe, home-like environment supports a caring team dedicated to quality care.

Shifts are 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Part Time with every other weekend commitment; pay starts at $20 per hour. We offer DEI initiatives, referral bonuses, health accounts, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Certification: CNA or CHHA required.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and transfer residents.
  • Effective communication with residents and co-workers.
  • Punctuality and reliability in daily care tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
  • Join or lead activities with residents.
  • Track care and tasks using electronic health records.
  • Assist housekeeping with light duties.
  • Escort residents to meals and dining services.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster a cooperative environment.

What Our Resident Care Associates Do
  • Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
  • Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
  • Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
  • Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
  • Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
  • Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
Requirements
  • Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)**
  • Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
  • Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
  • Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
