Job summary

A local home care service in Alabama is seeking compassionate Caregivers to enhance the lives of seniors. As a caregiver, you will provide individual, one-on-one non-medical services such as companionship, light cooking, bathing assistance, and transportation for errands. Desired qualifications include a preferred CNA or HHA license, strong communication skills, and physical capability to perform required duties. Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or equivalent experience caring for the elderly.
• Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass a criminal background check as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to seniors.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning tasks.
• Support clients with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help clients with ambulation and medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
