Job summary

Fox Hollow Independent & Assisted Living in Bend, OR is seeking caring individuals to join our team as caregivers. You will assist seniors with daily living, including personal care, medication assistance, meals, and recreational activities, reporting to the wellness director.

We value compassionate, clean, and professional individuals. Six months of senior caregiving experience is preferred; training is available for newcomers to healthcare. Proficiency in English for reporting is required.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving.
• If new to healthcare, we will train.
• Compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other ADLs.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment.

As a caregiver, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks. You will report to the wellness director.

You Will:

• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

You currently:

• Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving. If new to healthcare, we will train.
