Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a residential home in Bethel Park, PA. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, preparing meals, personal care, and coordinating transportation to appointments within a supportive, caring team setting.

No prior experience is required as paid training is provided. Full-time hours are available with some flexibility for day shifts; part-time options are also offered to fit scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
• No experience necessary; paid training provided.
• Experience in home health or direct care is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Cook and serve meals.
• Clean the house and perform light housekeeping.
• Shop for groceries and supplies.
• Provide personal care such as grooming or bathing.
• Assist with medication administration as needed.
• Support community outings and recreational activities.

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Bethel Park, PA.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Daylights 7am - 3pm

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
