Job summary

Serrato Corporation in Flint, MI, is seeking a Transition and Placement Specialist to provide services to former enrollees and graduates in line with government and management directives. You will serve as the main contact during transition and placement, coordinating with off-center placement specialists and community agencies.

• Produce and distribute placement and follow-up reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High level of communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
• High level of ability to motivate, inspire, and counsel students effectively.

Experience

Two years related experience. Experience may include successful Job Corps outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth development programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field; or Associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field, and two years related experience.
