Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver skilled, efficient service to our residents. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances across our property.

The role requires hands-on repairs, turnover work, and adherence to safety and quality standards. On-call availability and a strong teamwork mindset are essential to support residents and property operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, appliances and other systems.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and follow turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas (cleaning, sweeping, mopping, trash, pressure washing, windows).
• Monitor building exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc.
• Support preventive maintenance programs for areas of responsibility.
• Ensure safe conditions of equipment and structures; maintain inventory of tools/equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe safety rules.
