Distinction, LLC operates the St. Louis Job Corps Center and seeks a qualified Career Technical Training Manager to oversee the Center’s CTT program.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; one year experience working with disadvantaged youth or equivalent combination.
Valid driver’s license in the state of residence with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Manage flow of students through each Career Technical Training (CTT) program to meet monthly production and outcome goals; counsel students as needed.
Ensure curriculum for every CTT area is established, updated, and enhanced regularly.
Maintain instructors’ credentials/certifications and ensure required credentials for each trade.
Review CTT instructors' weekly lesson plans and ensure effective implementation.
Observe CTT classes and monitor classroom management effectiveness.
Analyze data from DOL reports to ensure progress and credential attainment.
Make recommendations to improve trade performance.
Develop corrective action plans for CTT programs as needed.
Conduct student interviews and focus groups to evaluate curriculum and teaching methods.
