Job summary

Distinction LLC in Saint Louis, Missouri, is seeking a Career Technical Training Manager to oversee the Center's Career Technical Training program, including staffing, compliance, credential attainment, and post-center placement outcomes.

You will guide curriculum updates, ensure instructor credentials, review lesson plans, monitor class effectiveness, analyze DOL data, and collaborate with other managers to schedule and engage students toward meeting DOL requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year experience working with disadvantaged youth.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of students through Career Technical Training programs and counsel students as needed.
• Ensure curriculum is established, updated, and enhanced regularly for every CTT area.
• Ensure instructors' credentials remain current and that required credentials are obtained.
• Review and provide feedback on weekly lesson plans and ensure effective implementation.
• Observe CTT classes and monitor classroom management effectiveness.
• Analyze data from DOL reports to verify timely progress and credential attainment.
• Make recommendations to improve trade performance.
• Develop corrective action plans for Career Technical Training Programs as needed.
• Conduct student interviews, group discussions, and focus groups to evaluate curriculum and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other managers to schedule classes and engage students to meet DOL requirements.
