As a key member of the Student Services team, you will provide personalized career guidance, facilitate workshops and webinars, build relationships with employers, and help create opportunities that connect students with internships and employment

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in career services or advising.
• Ability to provide career guidance to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of adult and continuing education needs.
• Knowledge of recruiting processes and employer engagement.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and career services technologies.
• Experience delivering workshops and presentations in-person, hybrid, or virtual settings.

As a key member of the Student Services team, you will provide personalized career guidance, facilitate workshops and webinars, build relationships with employers, and help create opportunities that connect students with internships and employment across diverse industries. This position is ideal for a career development professional who is passionate about student success, workforce development, and creating meaningful pathways from education to employment.

Salary & Compensation

• UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years Progressively responsible experience in the field, including knowledge of career development theories, evolving career services advising, and contemporary labor market trends across diverse industries (Required)
• Demonstrated ability to provide career advising, coaching, and student support services to individuals from diverse educational, professional, cultural, and personal backgrounds. (Required)
• Knowledge of career development theories, workforce trends, and the unique needs of adult, continuing education, and non‑traditional student populations. (Required)
• Knowledge of recruiting processes, employer engagement strategies, and practices for connecting students and alumni with career opportunities. (Required)
• Proficiency in the use of CRM systems, career services technologies, data management tools, and applicable data privacy requirements. (Required)
• Skill in delivering career counseling, workshops, webinars, and presentations across in-person, hybrid, and virtual learning environments. (Required)
• Ability to develop engaging career education resources, digital learning materials, and scalable self‑service tools. (Required)
• Strong relationship‑building and networking skills, with the ability to foster partnerships with employers, alumni, academic departments, and community stakeholders. (Required)
• Skill in planning, coordinating, promoting, and assessing career‑related events, employer programs, and experiential learning opportunities. (Required)
• Ability to provide advising and career support across multiple academic disciplines and adapt to changing programmatic needs. (Required)
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret student outcomes, placement data, labor market information, and performance metrics to support strategic decision‑making. (Required)
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and serve diverse student, alumni, employer, and campus constituencies. (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

• Bachelor's Degree In related area and / or equivalent experience / training (Required)

Special Conditions for Employment
