Job summary

San Joaquin Valley College Inc. is seeking a Career Services professional to support students and graduates in obtaining employment.

Under the leadership team, this role provides services that assist students and graduates in obtaining employment, focusing on employment, externship or certification tracking, and career services skill development. You will conduct employer outreach, coordinate externships, and provide resume and interview coaching, while aligning with compliance and documentation

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Preferred three years of job development, career services, or agency recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts employer and job development activities such as employer calls and site visits.
• Meets and exceeds daily, weekly, and modular activity goals to achieve modular employment start goal.
• Maintains relationships with students and graduates to ensure appropriate interaction with employers.
• Attends business functions, trade shows, and professional organizations’ meetings for networking and employer development.
