University of Central Florida is seeking a Career Services Coordinator to help students connect with employers and engage in career development activities. The role supports the Dixon Career Development Center and Rosen College of Hospitality Management with workshops, events, and services.

You’ll guide students in resumes, interviewing, and job-search strategies while maintaining strong employer relationships and reporting program activity. Regular hours with some events outside typical 8-5.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's and 2+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
• Experience in higher education, employer relations, corporate recruiting, career services/career development, student services, hospitality, or a related environment.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations, workshops, programs, outreach activities, or events.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and follow established processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and exercise sound judgment when responding to students, employers, and other stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate engagement and serve as a liaison among employers, DCDC, RCHM, and students/alumni.
• Deliver workshops, outreach activities, and specialized career programming for students and stakeholders.
• Plan and execute events such as career fairs and campus days; assist with logistics and promotion.
• Provide guidance on Handshake, MyKnightStar, VMock and other systems; document interactions for reporting.
• Support employer relationships and recruiting opportunities; provide career development services to students.
• Represent DCDC and RCHM at events and promote UCF as a talent source.
