Job summary

The Kenneth G. Dixon Career Development Center at the University of Central Florida is seeking a Career Services Coordinator to connect students with career resources, employers, and opportunities that lead to successful transitions from college to career.

Based in Orlando, the role will coordinate employer engagement, deliver career programming, and foster partnerships with the Rosen College of Hospitality Management while supporting events and advising students and alumni.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in higher education, employer relations, or career services is preferred.
• Strong presentation and outreach abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engagement and serve as liaison among employers, DCDC, the Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and students and alumni.
• Deliver workshops, outreach activities, and specialized career programming; assist with major events and logistics.
• Guide employers and students in using Handshake, MyKnightStar, and VMock; document interactions and report activity.
• Support employer relationships and connect opportunities with students and graduates.
• Provide individual and group career development services on resumes, cover letters, interviewing, and job searching.
