Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong interest in data analytics, information systems, technology, business intelligence, or data‑driven decision‑making.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering, PivotTables, charts, data validation, and data organization.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate new software, databases, and technology platforms.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection, entry, validation, organization, and maintenance of Career Services data across multiple university systems and tracking tools.
• Review data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and potential discrepancies.
• Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, and other reporting tools used to monitor departmental activities and outcomes.
• Create and update reports using Microsoft Excel and other available reporting or visualization tools.
• Help translate data into clear summaries, reports, and visualizations that support departmental decision‑making.
• Maintain appropriate confidentiality when working with student, employer, and departmental information.
• Support industry‑related events and activities, including career fairs and employer engagement.
• Assist with test­ing, documenting, and improving processes involving Career Services technology and data systems.
