National Polytechnic College is seeking a Career Services Coordinator to manage student job placement, employer relations, and externship activities on campus in Long Beach. You will prepare students for resumes, help with interviews, and maintain placement records while driving outreach to local clinical sites and employers.

The role includes coordinating externships and assisting with licenses and certifications, with local travel and a full-time on-campus schedule.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills (verbal and written).
• Associate degree is a plus.
• Prior experience on Job Placement and Business Development for Vocational Schools is a plus.
• Computer literate on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• MUST have own reliable transportation and Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Job Placement: prepare students for resumes, job hunting, interviews, maintain records, and reporting.
• Business Development: identify clinical sites, pitch employers, maintain relationships, coordinate interviews and placements, and conduct employer visits.
• Externship: coordinate externship dates, track hours, keep site relations, and travel locally.
• Licenses and Certification Services: assist with career licenses and stay updated on regulations.
