Job summary

National Polytechnic College's Career Services department seeks a proactive Career Services Coordinator - Business Developer to represent the college in the community, develop new clinical site partnerships, and coordinate externships and student job placements.

The role is field-based, requiring at least 3 days per week in the community and on-campus engagement in Lakewood, CA, with a focus on building relationships, arranging site visits, and organizing job fairs.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Experience in vocational education, job placement, or business development a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clinical site partnerships.
• Travel to the field at least 3 days per week to engage employers.
• Pitch hiring opportunities and maintain a leads database.
• Coordinate externships and ensure documentation compliance.
• Plan job fairs and campus employer visits.
• Support College Advisory Board development.
• Coordinate site visits and track partner satisfaction.
