Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. in Mississippi is seeking an Academic Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction to Job Corps students at the Career Education Center.

You will develop individualized achievement plans and collaborate with CTT instructors to integrate academic concepts into technical training, supporting student success and program completion. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a valid teaching certificate or waiver, and ideally prior teaching or Job Corps experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate or approved teaching waiver required.
• Previous teaching experience and/or Job Corps experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction that helps students attain HSD and/or GED credentials, improving literacy and numeracy.
• Develop and maintain individualized student achievement plans and provide case management to support progress and completion.
• Collaborate with CTT instructors to integrate academics into career technical training programs.
• Ensure data integrity and accurate record-keeping, preventing data manipulation.
• Support the Center in achieving Department of Labor and company performance goals.
