Job summary

LifeSkills Connection Inc. is seeking an educator to teach basic vocational skills to students, ensuring discipline and relevance in instruction. The role collaborates with academic instructors to deliver applied academics and coordinate curriculum.

The position requires strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, and adherence to safety and conduct standards. Valid state credentials or accreditation may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• State certification/licensure as required by state employment or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teaches the basic principles and concepts of vocational skills to students.
• Maintains a high degree of discipline within classroom setting to maximize learning.
• Collaborates with academic instructors to coordinate curriculum development and deliver applied academics.
• Uses all curricular resources available on Center.
• Ensures adequate classroom preparation and proper maintenance of student records.
• Maintains building and equipment and ensures safety practices.
• Performs driving responsibilities and monitoring activities when needed.
• Promotes a positive classroom atmosphere and student motivation.
• Participates in student performance evaluations and provides feedback on employability skills.
