Job summary

Education & Training Resources LLC is seeking an instructional facilitator to assist new students, provide career exploration, and implement Career Preparation requirements across varied classes and activities. The role focuses on enabling long-term employability and success for students through diverse instructional strategies.

The position emphasizes assessing student needs, coordinating with counselors, and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining classroom discipline and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High energy level and ability to engage students.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional strategies, classroom management and content field.
• Ability to quickly learn Job Corps methodologies and strategies.
• Ability to use different methods and mediums in delivering course material.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Coordinate with independent living advisors, counselors and staff to resolve training issues.
• Model positive behaviors, mentor students, and monitor conduct through interventions.
• Monitor classroom operations including absenteeism and tardiness.
• Deliver instruction in varied classes and activities, including foundational CTE skills and employability topics.
• Facilitate career exploration and assessment activities.
• Develop and evaluate Career Preparation curriculum with instructors and staff.
• Prepare for activities and maintain discipline to maximize learning.
• Establish strong student-instructor rapport.
• Participate in ESPs and evaluate student performance and employability skills.
• Provide regular feedback and labor market information to students.
• Assist students in developing career goals and objectives.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices.
