Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ. This full-time role coordinates and implements the career preparation period program for new students, in compliance with government and management directives.

Responsibilities include developing, preparing and delivering lessons, coordinating arrivals, auditing contractual compliance, and supporting student employability activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

• Recommend a training program for each assigned student using background files, personal interviews, tests, and other assessment tools.
• Conduct pre-arrival contacts with potential enrollees; prepare and mail pre-arrival and safe arrival letters on a timely basis, and coordinate arrival activities with other center departments.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to student. Prepare related reports.
• Participate in student employability programs and activities.

What you will be doing
