Job summary

Our Just Future is seeking a Job Search Specialist to support participants in identifying employment goals, strengthening job search skills, and connecting with opportunities in a hybrid work setting with on-site DHS branches in Oregon. You will provide individualized support, case management, and build relationships with participants and partners.

The role emphasizes helping participants overcome barriers, coordinating with staff, and maintaining progress using multiple databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social services or related field with experience in housing or poverty issues.
• Experience developing individualized service plans and providing case management.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and client-centered approaches.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized job search support including resume development and interview prep.
• Deliver workforce case management and Employment Plan development.
• Connect participants with employment opportunities and resources.
• Address barriers to employment and track progress using databases.
• Collaborate with staff to leverage community resources and opportunities.
