Job summary

The City of Cambridge invites applications for a Training Programs Coordinator at the Community Learning Center. The role leads and coordinates multiple career pathway training programs, provides education and career advising, recruits students, and builds collaborative relationships with employers and community partners.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to racial equity, experience with adult learners, and the ability to align curricula with program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Experience in leading/coordinating projects and teams.
• Experience in advising a multi-cultural population.
• Experience in and/or willingness to work on issues concerning racial equity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate CLC's training programs and goals.
• Recruit students, provide career advising, and build employer relationships.
• Manage learner data, assessments, and curriculum alignment with goals.
• Hire and supervise part-time staff and participate in equity initiatives.
• Teach weekly career awareness and coordinate guest speakers.
