Center For Family Services is seeking a full-time Workforce Development professional in Salem County, NJ, focused on creating career pathways for individuals facing income loss due to divorce, separation, or disability of a spouse. The CMCC program offers job readiness, resume development, interview preparation, and skills training to prepare participants for today’s job market.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online database systems, preferably Awards.

Responsibilities

• Complete program enrollment eligibility assessment and review of client needs.
• Evaluate background, skills, and interests to match job openings or training.
• Coordinate career counseling, goal development, evaluation, and job-readiness training.
• Establish and maintain relationships with employers and public agencies to source opportunities.
• Support clients with job search and placement; coach for interviews.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor client progress.
• Provide individualized case management and record keeping.
• Develop partnerships with local agencies to provide services.
• Maintain weekly contact to track interview readiness.
• Coordinate career workshops and job fairs.
• Work with internal staff to provide seamless services.
• Create and deliver job-readiness materials and workshops.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
