Job summary

Goodwill Education Initiatives, Inc. seeks a College and Career Readiness Specialist to build systems and programs that connect students with postsecondary plans and employment opportunities.

You will advise and manage cases as students near graduation, aligning diploma tracks with industry credentials and dual-credit options. You will develop partnerships with colleges, employers, and community partners, guiding students through certifications and college readiness while aligning with The Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human relations, rehabilitation counseling, or related fields.
• Knowledge of financial aid, college admissions, scholarships, internships, and certifications.
• Experience in career counseling or workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with community partners, certification providers, and employers.
• Implement programs exposing students to workplace experiences and college opportunities.
• Refer students to internal partners and track work-based learning opportunities.
• Guide students into dual credits and certification opportunities aligned with postsecondary plans.
• Support graduation pathways from enrollment to postsecondary placement and follow-up.
