Goodwill Kentucky seeks an energetic Support Specialist to work with individuals facing barriers to employment. You will partner with career coaches to connect clients with resources and help them build career-ready plans in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and data entry, with responsibilities including referrals, progress reporting, and coordinating with community partners to support job seekers across the state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred or related work experience.
• Case management experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in overcoming employment barriers and set career goals.
• Coordinate services with career coaches and other agencies.
• Maintain data in the assigned system and report outcomes.
• Make referrals to community organizations and resources.
• Provide direct support for immediate needs (food, transportation, etc.).
• Travel across the state as required.
