Goodwill of the Heartland in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Full-Time Career Navigator to support program participants through intake, assessments, and career planning. You will identify training needs and administer interest and skill assessments to develop a comprehensive career plan, then connect participants with employment services such as job shadows and internships.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field (or six years’ related experience), one year in a similar role,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, education, human resources, or a related field is required.
• Six years of related experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• One year of employment in a related field is required.
• A relevant Master's degree may be substituted for the year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intakes and assessments for program participants.
• Develop comprehensive career plans and identify training tools and skills.
• Administer interest and skill-based assessments as needed.
• Coordinate access to job shadows, internships, and other employment services.
• Guide participants toward achieving employment goals.
