Job summary

Goodwill SWPA is hiring a Career Navigator for the Morgantown Opportunity Center to plan and facilitate career readiness and job placement activities. This regular full-time, non-exempt role will work with the Human Service team to provide intake, assessments, workshops, and job search support for participants pursuing employment goals.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 1945 Hunters Way, Morgantown, WV 26505, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 5 years of experience, or a related degree with fewer years.
• Associates degree with 3 years, or Bachelor's with 1 year of experience.
• Experience with at-risk populations and Morgantown region is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in job placement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead career readiness workshops and job-search support at the Opportunity Center.
• Provide job-specific training and supervise community members, including individuals with barriers to employment.
• Collaborate with Business Engagement and community partners on opportunities.
• Foster relationships with employers to identify resources and opportunities.
• Deliver onsite customer service and maintain welcoming environment at the Center.
