The Division of Employment and Training Services is devoted to comprehensive workforce development for both its staff and customers. Your training will include on-the-job learning with seasoned staff, as well as formal training via online video modules, ongoing webinar, monthly trainings and biweekly check-in meetings as well as annual multi-day training opportunities. The work week for this position is Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours per day. The position requires travel to rural schools and some overnighting in schools. The Employment Services Technician 1 Career Guide is stationed in the YK Delta Job Center, 460 Ridgecrest Drive, Suite 112 in the Bethel Native Corporation (BNC) Building; our building has free parking with electrical plug-ins and is conveniently located next door to the AC grocery store. This position is customer service driven and involves case management of high school seniors - travel is required to Kuspuk School District and Lower Yukon School District villages.
