Responsibilities

• Set expectations and priorities for career and education staff across the Workforce Solutions system.
• Delegate and review ongoing tasks to ensure goals are met.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance.
• Align daily activities with annual and long-term goals, and help set short-term objectives.
• Empower employees to own their tasks and goals with accountability and feedback.
• Plan and improve processes to boost speed, quality and efficiency.
• Ensure team leads understand and train staff to meet contract objectives.
• Oversee operations and daily activities, including budget oversight.
• Maintain technical knowledge via workshops and networking.
• Ensure HR policy compliance and equal opportunity standards.
• Identify staffing needs, conduct interviews, and recommend hires/terminations.
• Evaluate personnel actions such as raises and improvements.
• Ensure staff determine and award financial aid fairly per guidelines.
