Reliable Ducts Heating & Cooling in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an HVAC Start Up/Warranty Technician for residential single-family homes. You will perform system startups, verify operation, and troubleshoot issues to ensure homeowner move-in satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least 2+ years of residential HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to work with construction teams. Compensation is $18-$25 per hour plus bonus, with strong growth potential at our growing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential HVAC experience, preferably in new construction, startup, warranty, or service.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license and able to pass a background check.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• ServiceTitan experience is preferred.
• Must be able to pass background and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC system startups in newly constructed single-family homes.
• Inspect HVAC installations for workmanship, operation, and quality.
• Test heating, cooling, airflow, temperature, and system operation before move-in.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve HVAC issues found during startup and warranty calls.
• Diagnose and repair warranty-related HVAC issues in occupied/unoccupied homes.
• Verify equipment, thermostats, ductwork, refrigerant, electrical connections, and other components.
• Document startup results, warranty repairs, and completed work accurately.
• Communicate with management regarding issues, scheduling, and completed work.
• Ensure all work follows manufacturer specs, codes, safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment and positive relationships.
