Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking an Assistant Banquet Manager for our Hilton College Station property. You will supervise banquet staff, oversee setup and breakdown, ensuring guest comfort and safety, and coordinate with culinary and service teams during events.

The role reports to the Banquet Manager and offers a competitive salary with extensive benefits. This on-site position requires strong teamwork and attentiveness to guest needs in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
• Skills: Able to read, speak and understand English; lift 20-40 lbs; stand for long periods; communicate hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Check server’s and house person’s BEOs to ensure that all information is accurate.
• Check room set-up to see that BEO directions are followed and public areas are neat.
• Contact group representatives and coordinate throughout the function.
• Ensure that all Food & Beverage items are presented and served to standards and note special requests.
• Maintain communication between Culinary Dept. and Banquet Team during events and note changes.
